Adam Schatz

Adam Schatz has been making music longer than he can remember. As a songwriter and performer, most of Adam's time is spent with his project Landlady, his improvising big band Civil Engineering or  his solo effort Mrs. Adam Schatz. He just built a recording studio in his neighborhood of Ditmas Park in Brooklyn, NY where he will continue to collaborate with the obscene number of talented people he gets to spend time with. Adam has performed on the Today show, Late Night With Steven Colbert and NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, as well as toured the U.S. and Europe many times. As a teacher, he's worked at the Stanford Jazz Workshop, Tennessee Teens Rock Camp and give improvisation workshops at Oberlin and Princeton.
