Sarah Packiam
-Born and raised in Ireland, Sarah Packiam began writing songs at the age of 12. Her father is a blues musician from India who inspired her with his musical influence. When Sarah was 18, she moved to Spain where she performed regularly in bars and nightclubs in the family band. She was discovered and sent to Miami by Jon Secada, where she began cowriting and being produced by Grammy award-winning producer Tim Mitchell. In 2009, Sarah was part of Shakira's promo tour singing background vocals, as well as playing guitar and banjo. She also opened with her band for Smashmouth and Jason Mraz at the Sunfest Festival, and sang with Gloria Estefan, Carole King, Queen Latifah, Ricky Martin and other artists at the Estefan's "Power of Love" gala in Las Vegas.
Sarah's first independent record, One for Two, was released in 2012, with her Dream EP dropping later in 2013. In 2014, she started writing, producing and recording her next album while continuing to embrace the Miami music scene. Her third studio album, AGAIN, featured the single "Silly Little Love Songs", which was described by British music critic Paul Reynolds as "… a positively euphoric experience. That chorus is just delightful, sparkling like sunshine dancing off the lake on a bright summer day…" All three of Sarah’s records are available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora and the usual virtual stores.
Following the release of AGAIN, Sarah grabbed her guitar, did a few shows in New York and Nashville, and headed to Europe for an acoustic solo tour through Spain, France, Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland. She is currently writing and in the studio with her band working on her fourth record, to be released in 2017.
