Job Description / Responsibilities
Samson Technologies in Hicksville, NY is looking for a dynamic, full-time Firmware/Software Design Engineer to use their skills to help take never-before-seen products from the conceptual level to store shelves. As part of the Research and Development team, the Firmware/Software Design Engineer will use their knowledge of C & Embedded C Programming, Microcontrollers, USB interface and DSP design to develop new products for audio consumers and professionals. Additionally this engineer will act as liaison between third party app/software development companies and Samson.

Requirements:
3 years experience in audio equipment industry.
C & Embedded C Programming
Experience with compiler programs such as Keil C51 & gcc
Familiarity with version control software such as Git
Knowledge of programmable logic "PLD"
Basic knowledge of DSP theory
Good communication skills.
