Jeff Allegue

Solo / Independent / Trans-Siberian Orchestra

¡°I can honestly say that Hartke's ACR5 is one of the finest sounding and sonically pleasing acoustic guitar amps on the market today. It's an absolute joy to the ears!¡±

Born in Amityville, NY, Jeff Allegue began studying classical guitar with instructor Craig Smith at the age of 10. The following year he moved to Bayport, NY, where he attended Bayport High School. During those years he played bass in various bands and had the opportunity to study with renowned British composer John Duarte and performed at master classes for guitarist Christopher Parkening. Out of school, Jeff was profiled in Guitar Player Magazine, Bass Player Magazine and Guitar for the Practicing Musician. Along with his brother John, their band The Tallboys had a video that appeared on MTV which led to their appearance on Star Search. The Tallboys were then signed to Robber Baron/Significant Records and released their album Normal All around Men, which charted in the Top 10 nationally on college radio. A few years later, Jeff released a solo classical guitar album, Gut Strings, and performed concerts throughout the tri-state area to promote the record. He then became the bassist for singer Taylor Dayne, touring the country for many years with her band. Jeff is also a founding member of the hugely successful Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), appearing on their multi-platinum Christmas Trilogy and The Lost Christmas Eve albums and their newest release, Night Castle. His most recent instrumental guitar album, The Lovely Savages, is currently available on iTunes. Jeff also has his own band called New Life Crisis, along with the multi-talented singer-songwriter Paul Mahos and drummer Steve O'Brien. Their debut record is now available through their website.
